The purpose of this project was to improve my sense of type hierarchy and think of new ways that type can be combined. I chose to combine serifs and scripts to create 30 type badges with an overall theme.

DAD QUIRKS Typography

I decided to use my dad as the inspiration for the aesthetic and content of my type badges. He is the typical dad: he loves golf, dad jokes, and embarrassing his kids. I took some of his most-used phrases and quirky antics to create these country-club style type badges in a project I call “Dad Quirks.”
