The main purpose of this typography project was to improve my sense of type hierarchy and think of new ways that type can be combined. The challenge was to follow my specific guideline of combining serifs and scripts to create 30 type badges with an overall theme.

I decided to use my dad as the inspiration for the aesthetic and content of my type badges. He is the typical dad; loves golf, dad jokes, and embarrassing his kids. I took some of his most said phrases and quirky antics and created these country-club style type badges in a project I call “Dad Quirks.”
